I don’t need to follow my drive, I need money, I’m getting it and I’m happy !!

Many of us think, I don’t need to follow my drive, I’m earning good money and I’m doing right thing. The problem is that we are not understanding that actually we are working for someone else drive. We are not creating our own future. Our future is in someone else hand and once our job is done we might be thrown out also!
If we are hungry it is must to somehow fill our stomach first. But this is not the way of living our entire life. We have to replace this “somehow” with a way of earning bread on our own. When we follow our drive actually we are doing it. That’s why it is very important to follow our drive.
Consider an organization which is geographically distributed. When outsourcing work to some third world country why they are always outsourcing some non-core work only? anything which is not core will never give any strong skills and you can be easily replaced/thrown out for such kind of work.
There can be multiple factors for not getting core work. One of the factors is, most of the people in third world country are hungry and just running behind making money; there are very few people who want to follow their drive. Working on core requires more people with drive and that is missing.
By not following our drive, we are not creating problem just for ourselves, we are creating problem for people comming after us as well as coming generation. If we continue working same way for long, we will learn and grow in the same way and we will create a culture which will force people comming after us also to work in same donkey way.
The money which we are getting somehow today is not going to last forever. Its better we realize it and start working on our drives.
This is not applicable just to people, organization also need to focus on its own drive and provide an environment where people can follow their drive in alignment with organization drive.

“Drive!” what exactly it is?

** If not read, please read the earlier post first

Drive is a kind of emotion which tries to dominate our logical thinking. But as human we always have options to choose.  We may think logically to suppress our drive and choose some other option. People who suppress their drive and choose other way, they end up doing mundane task for some other person’s drive.
Drive always comes from our surroundings or in broader terms, by exploring nature. Sometime we may find something missing in and want to bring in; sometime we may want to find out, why something is like that! Or sometime we may want to make something existing, better. These are the few ways nature is triggering us to evolve itself.
Different people may notice different things and hence they may get different drives. Newton noticed an apple falling from tree and he got a drive to find out the reason for that.
A person does not need to be exceptional to follow his drive. Anybody can follow his drive and can achieve exceptional results. Mahatma Gandhi is the best example. He noticed discrimination directed at black South Africans and Indians which drove him to fight against it. His work in South Africa has dramatically changed him.
Drive is not something running behind positions/designations/money and we should never bend ourselves to gain it, this is not natural at all. These are all rewards and we get them automatically when we follow our drive.
Keeping in mind above factors an organization can structure itself to keep itself align with the nature. An organization clear with its objective can group mix of people, people with drive or people without drive (who are able to suppress their drive). But the proper mix needs to be plan.
The organization need to be careful handling people. You cannot handle people with drive and people without drive in same way. People with drive never run behind money or position. But that does not mean that they don’t want it. They want these things, but they expect organization to take care of it. Never compare people with drive to people without drive, it will boomerangJ.
People with drive should always stay on top. Whatever happens never put people without drive on top of people with drive. The moment you do, it’s the start of organization downfall. This not favoritism, it is the option which a person has chosen… “Either follow your drive or you will be left with only option to follow someone else drive”.

What's wrong with us ?

For long time I’m observing and wondering. Sometimes I used to think I’m too young to comment about it, sometime people put me down conveying this is how system works. But I think there is some problem with our system and our way of living life.
Our system, our culture is developed and modified from time to time. This system or culture is based on perception of bunch of people. This perception is more driven for the benefit/comfort/will of a particular community or group and later on the entire generation is directly or indirectly forced to follow it. This culture or system does not align well with the nature and we end up living our life in an unnatural way defined by bunch of people.
Everything belongs to nature. All creations are part of nature.  How humans are different from other creations is that we have more choices to make while other creations are hard wired to serve a purpose.
Nature is self-governing and objective of nature is to keep on evolving. We are just like a pawn playing some role in evolving nature. What we do is what nature wants us to do and what we do triggers nature to further evolve.  Our efforts and their result are just outcome of this evolution process. As a human we have brains and we can make choices. If we do something wrong nature has ways to balance it and still continue evolving.
A good system is one which is aligning with the nature. We should not separate nature from our daily life. If our education, business, jobs are more in a way defined by nature, we will have a very satisfied, still evolving and not tiring life.
Fundamental to creating a system which is aligning with the nature is to "follow your drive". Every one of us is born with a purpose and if we follow our drive we fulfill that purpose. When we follow our drive we do it with passion.if we do something with passion entire creation help us, the truth is that whole natural system is created to help us only. But it helps us only, when we are align with the nature. It’s only us, who have created a system which is not aligned with the nature and because of that we are trying to achieve things in unnatural way of manipulation.
If every one of us follows our drive from childhood, by adulthood we will acquire skills which are align with our drive. When your drive becomes your work you don’t treat it as work anymore and you enjoy doing more and more. You can imagine an organization hiring people based on their drive rather than their scores in academics. When organization hire people who are self-driven and their drive is aligned with organization business objective, it will become very easy and manageable for organization to meet its own objective.
Steve jobs is the perfect example of this. His self was aligned with the nature and you see the entire creation helping him. He followed his drive,  few people working with him and who were aligned with his drive helped him. We, as an end-user, dominated by our natural drive to buy quality product also helped him by buying his expensive products.
Your drive can be as long as your life or it can change in between. Whatever it is, the way of living happiest/working/satisfying/evolving  life and building a foundation of a system aligned with nature is "follow your drive".
